Description

This is a rare pair of early hand tinted photographs of young women in traditional kimonos in a garden setting. The photographs are in lacquer frames, hand painted with blossoms.The frames are a deep rich red colour and although they do show signs of ageing (one more than the other) they nevertheless look delightful. The pictures have overall dimensions of 37cms by 21cms.
