This is a most stylish Eastern carved lion with a great stance dating from the early 20th Century. The ebonised wooden carving shows the lion with full mane and has bone claws and teeth. The lion is a good size so looks most imposing in any room on a side cabinet or desk.The lion dates from around 1900 and measures 40 cms long 20 cms high and 12 cms deep
