Description

This is an attractive set of three Japanese Meiji woodblock prints dating from the early 19th Century. The prints by Kunisada and Eisen show beautiful ladies in traditional dress in different situations. One is dressing, one is preparing for a picnic and the other is reading. All of these are in excellent order and are presented in matching smart dark wooden frames which suit them well. There is information about each woodblock to the reverse. Each measures 53 cms by 43 cms including the frame.
