Description

This is a very attractive Regency period corner cupboard of a good scale and in nice original condition dating from around 1820. The cabinet is beautiful hand gilded in the Chinese chinoiserie taste and has pretty solid brass pierced fret butterfly hinges and its original matching escutcheon. There is a working lock and key to the bowed doors which reveal a painted interior with three curved shelves. The cabinet is a good size, larger than the average, being 110 cms high 76 cms wide by 48 cms deep.
