Description

This is a George II period hanging corner cupboard with red lacquer and gilded decoration dating from the mid 18th century circa 1750.

The cabinet has chinoiserie scenes of figures, buildings, willow trees and birds, with its original pierced brass hinges, metal bolt and original working lock and key. The interior has a shaped shelf at the top and two bowed shelves beneath.

The cabinet measures 90 cms high 60 cms wide by 40 cms deep.
