Description

This is a handsome Chinese marriage cabinet in elmwood with attractive brass detail dating from around 1900. The cabinet is in two sections with the base on sleigh type bracket legs and the top section with Chinese side scroll pediment. The elm panels have a lovely colour and grain with decorative butterfly hinges and catches to the doors. The metal work is all in good order and the spacious cabinets both have a double door design with good storage. This is a very characterful cabinet with a great look and it is a useful size measuring 142 cms high 95 cms wide by 45 cms deep.
