Description

This is a most impressive late 19th century Chinese Jade / hardstone vase in super condition dating from around 1890. The vase has an imposing ovoid, shouldered urn shape with double Phoenix handles. The body is carved with double Phoenix with outstretched wings above its fluted and waisted foot. The vase has wonderful rich, deep colours to the hand carved hardstone with a fabulous grain and lovely antique patina. It is in great condition overall although has had some restoration to the base in the past as photographed.
This is a is a good size and a most impressive piece at 33.5 cms in height by in diameter.
