Description
This is a most charming Indian painting of a Prince in his carriage with servant and a leading horse in its fine regalia.The painting on card is in gouache pigment and is an early depiction, painted around 1750 in Kullu, valley of the Gods.
The painting has great charm and character and is in very good condition overall bearing in mind its great age, with only minor losses to the white pigment. It has been recently framed in a complimentary antique gold frame that measures 34 cms by 29 cms.
