Description

This is a most elegant pair of George III style silvered metal wall sconce with a very tasteful design. The pair are very rare to find in this cast silvered metal and have a classic Regency design with large central roundel with rams heads to either side and beautiful ribbon and bow above scrolls and central urn. The four reeded arms have a reeded urn shaped sconce with candle covers that house a standard small bayonet bulb.
The pair are in excellent condition and measure 38 cms wide 42 cms high by 20 cms deep.
They date from the Regency revival period circa 1910.
