Description

This is a super early 20th century Syrian circular occasional table with stunning detail throughout the whole piece. The table dates from around 1900 and is beautifully inlaid with specimen woods and mother of Pearl pieces in a spectacular geometric star design. The piece has a curved tripod leg frame with hexagonal base all of which are inlaid to the same fine quality as the top surface. As with many eastern nomadic tables this is constructed as a campaign style piece so dismantles easily for transport and is rapidly assembled to still have a good sturdy design that fits together perfectly.This is in excellent condition with a really good colour.
The table measures 55 cms high and is 40 cms in diameter at the surface.
