This is an unusual and charming antique solid gold pendant on chain dating from 1919. This has a solid 9 ct gold fob type pendant which has an enamelled disc with a beautiful brown rabbit in a garden setting to the front. To the reverse of the pendant there is an engraving, 'J.Lister 1919'. The pendant was made by 'Fattorini' Jewellers, a company founded in 1827 by Antonio Fattorini an Italian immigrant who settled in Yorkshire where he established a number of retail outlets specialising in jewellery, watches and barometers.
The pendant measures 3 cms long by 2.5 cms wide and the 9 ct gold chain measures 47 cms in length.
