Description

This is a good quality early 20th century rise and fall chandelier dating from around 1900. The crimped glass Holophane shades are in perfect condition. This is in excellent fully restored condition and is fully rewired and PAT tested. The chandelier is rewired in modern antique style braided cable in keeping with the authenticity of the piece. The heavy central brass weight operates a pulley system with the cables rolling up or down over the black porcelain wheels as this is raised or lowered. This could be hung in a fairly high ceiling room as it has a full drop height of 1.2 metres potentially. The piece is 60 cms wide overall and the shades are 16 cms in diameter.
