Description

A Fine Antique French Empire Geuridon Table in super condition dating from around 1800. The elegant turned legs have wonderful flame mahogany with a glorious rich colour capped by Corinthian bronze ormolu capitols decorated with wreath and ribbon scroll detail typical of the early Empire period. The fine marble top is in excellent order with a rare quadruple reeded edge and is in decorative fossilled grey marble quarried from Iran. The table is raised on its original castors hidden beneath the columns.
A most elegant centre table in beautiful condition.
The table measures 74 cms high and in 100 cms in diameter.
