Description

This is a very smart pair of quality Pembroke tables dating from around 1900. Rare to find as a pair, the tables have petite proportions and are in excellent condition throughout. Inlaid to the legs with marquetry in different fruitwoods in a harebell design, the tables open to have oval tops with smart bookmatched mahoghany sunburst design with a central marquetry spiral shell. Each table has a single oak lined drawer, which is indication of the quality of the piece, and original drop handle.
These measure 69 cms high and are 53 cms by 38 cms with the leaves down, and 73 cms long with the leaves out. Because they have such petite proportions they could be used in a variety of settings they would be beautiful either end of a sofa, even as pretty bedsides.
