This fabulous Antique Micro Mosaic Brooch has been hand crafted during the late Victorian period circa.1900.Micro Mosaics are a special form of Mosaic that uses unusually small pieces of glass (tesserae) handmade in Italy.
The brooch boasts colourful floral Micro Mosaic tile work which have been hand set into the brooch. The tiles depict an intricate floral design and leaf pattern. Each mosaic is very fine and beautifully set, making it almost appear like a painting.
The brooch measures 4 cms by 3 cms.
