Description

A really handsome Irish settle in the finest solid Cuban mahogany dating from around 1830. The sofa is an incredibly heavy piece of the best quality and has a very tasteful country house look with fabulous acanthus carved scrolling arms and hairy paw feet. The piece has a four chair back design and long spacious seat with a stylised flower and leaf fabric that has some age and wear as shown. The settle is a fine and imposing piece being 180 cms in length 68 cms deep by 90 cms in height. The seat area is 48 cms high 54 cms deep and 166 cms between the arms.
