Description

This is an elegant 19th century French Bookcase cabinet in attractive Rosewood with good quality bronze ormolu mounts, dating from around 1870.
The cabinet is glazed to the front and sides with tasteful gilt metal grille panels and has a working lock and key to the doors. The glazed panels are all mounted in the cabinet with a decorative solid bronze beading. There are four adjustable shelves internally and this is raised on curved cabriole legs adorned with ormolu mounts.
In nice condition overall, with its original solid, figured marble top in excellent order.

The cabinet measures 81 cms wide by 38 cms deep (marble surface) by 137 cms high overall.
