Description

This is a good quality large Chinese champleve cloisonné vase dating from the early 20th century. The vase is a good shape with flared neck and superb raised champleve enamel work with lotus flowers, stylised butterflies, scrolls and foliage. This has an inlaid blue enamel into beautiful, typical Chinese stylised scrolling throughout the body of the piece.
The vase is a good size measuring 27 cms high and is 14 cms in diameter.
