Description

This handsome Chinese cloisonne lidded jar is a fine size and most imposing piece in excellent original condition dating from around 1900.
The large jar is skilfully hand enamelled with a lake scene depicting swans on the water to both sides and the lid. The scene is framed with floral, Ruyi and pendant borders. The jar is mounted on its original hand carved Chinese hardwood stand which is also in perfect condition.
A fine and impressive piece with lovely colours and in excellent original order.
The piece measures 32 cms high overall (27 cms high off the stand) and is 22 cms in diameter.
