This is an ebonised early 19th century picture frame with an reeded design and inner gilt slip.The frame measures 52 cms x 41 cms overall. The apperture is 43.5 x 33 cms.
With the slip removed the aperture is 45.5 by 34.5 cms.
The rebate at the back for the picture is 45 cms by 35 cms with or without the slip present.
