Description

A beautiful late 19th century Chinese bonsai arrangement in hardstone and Jade set within an exquisite Cloisonne brass and enamel inlaid planter. The decorative piece is ever so pretty, with delightful bold colours. The pair of tufted cockatoos are beautifully fashioned in glass enamels on metal with lovely turquoise and yellow shades and bright amber glass eyes.
The piece has stunning flowers to the bonsai tree with hard stone petals and carnelian stamens as well as large fruiting berries in jade.
A little stunner and most unusual rare piece in excellent condition.

This measures 15 cms high 13 cms wide by 7 cms deep.
