This is a really stunning Arts & Crafts design firescreen dating from the early 20th Century circa 1900.The screen has swirling wrought iron work decorated with beaten copper panels around the central crescent shaped mirrored glass. The bevelled mirror is set in a studded copper frame and is beautifully hand painted depicting a small bird sitting in a flowering tree attempting to catch a spider in its web.
This is a most unusual and rare piece and ever so decorative. It stands 74 cms tall. It is 72 cms wide and 24 cms deep.
Rare to find and a very pretty addition to any room.
