A delightful country house oil painting in original gilt frame of a lady in green dress holding a rose in her right hand. This has good provenance coming from The Selected Contents of Scorborough Lodge from the Estate of Stephen Thornley-Wilson.The charming portrait has had a few old repairs as seen at the back so would benefit from some restoration.
It is in a lovely period gilt frame that enhances the work.
The frame measures 79 cms by 67 cms overall.
