Description
A charming Giltwood and gesso oval mirror in the Empire style dating from the late 19th century circa 1890. The the oval mirror plate has a very tarnished antique country house appearance which had much charm and is set within a beaded frame with rosette and carved acanthus leaf detail.This has lovely neat proportions that would fit anywhere at only 48 cms high by 24 cms wide.
Provenance: From the selected contents of Scorborough Lodge from the estate of Stephen Thornley Wilson.
