Description

A delightful, good quality late 19th century mahogany armchair with superb Islamic mashrabiya style bobin turned decoration in nice original condition.
The stylish chair has a great look and a wonderful rich colour to the mahogany which is inlaid to the back with a central star design in satinwood and further line inlay to the arms.
This has a studded cheniel covered seat and back which appears to be the original fabric and is in good condition overall with some light wear. The chair has turned understretchers giving a robust and solid construction as well as a comfortable seat.

The handsome chair 83 cms measures high by 53 cms wide by 48 cms deep with the seat being 40 cms from the floor.
