Description

This is a very good early 20th century hand woven Heriz carpet dating from around 1930. The carpet has an attractive design and a very lovely colour palette. The indigo field has large palmettes and flowing leafy vines framed by raspberry floral borders, flanked by sky blue guard stripes.

The carpet is exceptionally finally woven for a Heriz and looks stunning down on the floor.

This is a good size measuring 189cm by 140cm. It is in excellent condition throughout and ready for use.
