Description

This is a really smart, high quality 19th century mahogany wall clock or station clock in beautiful clean condition dating from around 1870.

The London clock by maker Campbell and Beaton is of the highest quality with a chain driven Fusee movement that runs for eight days keeping good time and winds once a week with the original key. This has an elegant mahogany case with heavy, thickly cut bevelled glass face in a cast brass bezel.

The 12” dial with hand painted Roman numerals is signed Campbell and Beaton London.

The clock measures 36 cms in diameter and is 16 cms in depth.
