Description

This is an early 20th century Afshar rug from South West Persia with an attractive and interesting design The rug has a cream ground with plants and zoomorphic devices around an indigo stepped medallion framed by narrow stylised flower head borders.
The rug is in excellent condition and is a useful size measuring 182 cm by 149 cm.
