Description

This is an attractive early 20th century antique Isfahan carpet from central Persia with a lovely soft hand woven wool and most appealing colour-way. The rug has an ice blue field of scrolling vines around a flower head medallion framed by spandrels of terracotta boteh and floral borders.
The rug has some slight fading to the colour towards one end, as per age, but is otherwise in excellent order.
The rug has a high knot count so has fine detail and is a useful size measuring 220 cm by 150 cm.
