Description

This is a beautiful and quality room size Heriz carpet which dates from the early 20th century. The carpet has a wonderfully warm colour palette, with a soft red field and a large floral medallion in indigo, deep cream and coral. The deep borders have geometric floral and foliate detail in indigo, blue and pink. This beautiful Heriz is handwoven in pure wool and is a very hard wearing and attractive carpet. It is in excellent condition and is a great room size measuring 361cm by 251cm.
