Description

This is a wonderful and quality Kashan carpet from Central Persia which dates from the late 19th century. Kashan carpets are expertly woven with the finest of wools and the patterns created are intricate and beautiful. This carpet has an indigo field of scrolling vines enclosed by pretty coral pink palmette borders. It is generally in very good order with just a little wear to one end and is a very useful size, measuring 225 cms by 132 cms.
