Description

This is an unusual and cheerful Bakhtiari runner carpet which dates from the early 20th century. The carpet has an interesting lattice leaf design with ground colours of indigo and cinnamon but has many other colours including a lovely soft blue, gold and coral. It has a little wear into the fringes at both ends but otherwise the runner is in great condition with a full soft pile throughout. This is a useful size measuring 291 cms x 100 cms.
