Large Japanese Meiji Shibayama Charger / Plaque

Description
This a superb Meiji period shibayama charger of plain dished form which dates from around 1880. The charger is inlaid with bone with a large beautiful chrysanthemum in a neo-classical vase with pendant tassels. This is on a gold lacquered ground set within a pretty red lacquer frame with cherry blossom detail. The charger is in excellent condition for its age. It is a really great size measuring all of 56 cms in diameter, so would add great drama to any wall.UK delivery is £22.
