Description

This is a splendid pair of large Victorian cast iron urns on stands in their original attractive paint finish, which is now a very nice antiqued soft blue green. The urns, dating from around 1870, have a classic Campana style with egg and dart decorated rim above floral vases with swags and lion mask handles. The substantial plinth bases with cast floral swag detail give these a great impact. The urns are a grand size, measuring almost four feet high ( 44 inches), by 24 inches in diameter and would add great character to any garden.
