Description

This is delightful and exquisitely painted Chinese watercolour showing birds among blossom. The painting is most skilfully painted in strong gouache colours which stay so well preserved on the pith. It dates from the mid 19th century is neatly mounted in a gilded frame which suits it well. Good condition, some breaks to the pith, good strength of colour to the work.
