Victorian Silver Sovereign Case
Birmingham 1896
Maker's mark for Alfred Wigley, Terrace Road, Birmingham.
Approximate dimensions: diameter 30.3mm, weight 18.5g.
There are surface marks associated with normal use and age.
There are small dings, one on the back and a couple on the sides. Please see photos.
The lid springs open when the button is pressed.
The spring under the sovereign pad works well, gripping sovereigns in place.
