Longines Silver Hunter Pocket Watch
Circa 1909
Signed Longines dial, movement and case.
Silver grade 875 which is a little less than sterling which is 925.
15 Jewel Movement.
Movement and case number 2302450.
Lever handset - pull out lever at 4 - see photos - and turn winder. Remember to push lever back in before closing the cover.
The front cover spring is in place and working but the cover needs help to clear the catch - just a little lift with the thumb nail - when the winder is pressed. Once it is clear of the catch, it springs open to 90 degrees.
The "glass" is a modern perspex glass.
The dial is a crisp white with no hairlines.
The case has some surface marks and a little rubbing associated with age and normal use.
The engine turned design is clearly visible.
Approximate dimensions: diameter 51mm, weight 97.1g.
