Royal Worcester
Jug
Date mark for 1917.
Signed W. Powell.
Decorated with a Blue Tit.
The jug also designed to resemble a wooden jug with staves and hoops. There are even several bulges to represent knots in the wood.
There is a tiny blemish next to one of these which looks as if it happened in the firing process. It is the size of a pin prick. There is a notch on the base which sticks out slightly. Please see photos.
The handle represents a twig.
Approximate dimensions: height 62.5mm, weight 49.5 grams.
