Victorian Silver Fusee Hunter Pocket Watch
London 1862
Military Interest.
Ornately inscribed inside the front cover is:
"Presented to
Color Sergt I Morey
by the Sergts of the Buffs (1st Battn)
on his discharge
as a token of their friendship
and esteem"

Dial signed Bennett, 65 & 64 Cheapside, London.
Ornately inscribed inside the back cover is -

Maker to the Royal Observatory
65 & 64 Cheapside & 62 Cornhill
London

The dial is a crisp white with no hairlines.
The front cover opens to about 75 degrees when the winder is pressed.
To set the hands lever open the glass at 6 with your thumbnail and use the key to move the hands.
Key supplied.
The engine turned design on the case is in very good condition showing little wear.
Vacant cartouche.
Lever open the back of the case with your thumb and wind the movement with the key.
Approximate dimensions: diameter 48.2mm, weight 96.5 grams.
The movement has been serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months.
