Early Original Bizarre Pedestal Bowl.
This pattern of this bowl is the original Bizarre pattern.
Early Wilkinson Backstamp.
The bowl has relief mouldings in the yellow band near the rim of the bowl and on the pedestal mainly in the black band but the top of the moulding just goes into the blue band.
The mouldings are a rare feature.
Approximate dimensions: diameter 23.5cm, height 12 cm, weight 1169 grams.
There are several very small blemishes in the bowl which look like firing faults. Please see photos.
There is some paint loss in several places which show white through the colour. Please see photos. The loss is not extensive.
A lovely example of the original Bizarre pattern on a bowl with mouldings which is in itself a rare feature.
