Victorian Silver Albert with Amethyst Coloured Fob
Birmingham 1897
Maker's mark for Herbert Bushell, Northampton Street, Birmingham.
Maker's mark on chain, T-bar and clasp.
Approximate dimensions: albert 30.5cm long with 5cm for fob, chain weight 52.5 grams fob 26.5 wide and 27.5mm long, revolving part 18mm across and 12.8 wide total weight 59.3 grams (chain & fob).
The amethyst coloured fob revolves freely. (It is not an amethyst).
There are no marks on the fob to identify the metal.
The graduated links of the albert are all stamped with the lion passant.
There are surface marks associated with light use and age.
Overall in very good condition.
