Early 20th Century
Silver Double Albert.
Chester Hallmark, date letter rubbed, possibly 1919.
Maker's mark for Edwin Page, Chain Manufacturer, Hylton Street, Birmingham.
T-bar hallmarked Birmingham 1899.
Maker's mark for Henry Pope, Pitsford Street, Birmingham.
Modern replacement silver clasps.
Approximate dimensions: length 43.5cm with 2cm for fob, weight 56 grams.
The graduated links are all stamped with the lion passant.
One leg of the Albert is two links longer than the other leg.
There are surface marks associated with normal use and age.
In very good condition.
