Description

Spectacular copper and wrought iron fire screen by John Pearson. Of all his works this is the best and heaviest quality that I have seen. Museum quality.
The detail of the rigger with humorous fish in the waves below is a delight. The copper panel is build into an wavy wrought iron frame with copper studs. Impressed J.P 1906.
Offered in a perfect and uncleaned condition.
The frame stands 70cms high and is 51cms wide.
The depth at the feet is 23cms.
