Description

Rare Arts & Crafts copper firescreen made by Hugh Wallis of Altrincham (1871-1943) with lion rampart in a shield to centre surrounded by leaves possibly made for the Scottish market. He perfected putting pewter on copper and this is a lovely example.
I have chosen not to clean so a few dark spots can be seen.
Otherwise offered in good condition.
Height 75cms.Width 59cms. Depth at feet 15cms.
