Description

Rare Shapland & Petter oak tiled hall stand with a stencilled panel depicting Robin Hood with an enamel heart above. It is very unusual to find not only such a panel on a hall stand but also the enamel heart.
The tiles are a lovely mix of dark and light blue. it has its
original metal drip tray.
The registration number to the back reads R1180-118
Condition - This has been through the workshop as the tiles were loose and the oak had bad water stains. The tiles have now been re -glued and the stand stripped and refinished. Very minor rubs to stencilled panel.
There are remains of a few small holes to the top where someone has added hooks.
Height 147cms. Width 74cms. Depth 29cms.
