Description

Stunning and exceptionally large Arts & Crafts 2 handled copper planter. Attributed to John Williams of Fivemiletown but could also have been made at his time at other schools of metalwork.
Adorned with entwined bunches of grapes and vine leaves stemming from trees. This has a sweeping handle to each side and is a heavy and rare piece of metalwork and would take a really large plant
Offered in good condition although it appears the base has been reinforced with a another layer of copper way back in time,
Height 23cms. Width at handles 49cms. Diameter 30cms.
