Description

Here we have the beautiful Isolde who's life with Tristan was a Cornish legend. Mark of Cornwall sent Tristan to bring the lovely Isolde from Ireland to marry him. However the inevitable happened and they fell in love and the whole affair ended in tragedy.
Played out in Richard Wagner's opera.
She is framed in her original copper frame with her name to the base. The frame has a few dings and has not been cleaned and measures 72cms in height and 46cms in width.
Words on the lower right corner read Copyright James Arthur 1903.
