Description

This delightful and beautifully hand made mirror is a fine mid 19th century copy of a very rare George I table mirror which has been accurately made in period timbers using rich figured veneers.

This rare small piece of furniture is designed to sit on a chest of drawers or lowboy. It has an adjustable mirror, a lower storage drawer and above a bureau fitment which folds down to form a leather inlaid writing surface also revealing a very nicely fitted interior with three small drawers and pigeon holes for storing papers and notes.

This mirror is in excellent original condition. It has rich patinated surfaces and a wonderful early period look which would complement any interior or home.

English circa 1860

Height 71cm x width 37cm x depth 24cm
