Description

Antique Victorian Quality Solid Mahogany Extending Dining Table With Two Removable Leaves & Handle.

A solid Victorian extending wind out dining table of good size, would seat 10.

Made by the world famous Maple & Co Ld which is stamped on the inside rail.

The table is in super condition and is ready for any home or office. The dining table has no major cracks to the top, and all leg joints are firm.

The table is planked solid Mahogany with superb patterns to timber. It has rounded corners and a super moulded edge.

Under frame has nice moulding to the bottom.

The polish is in super condition with no deep scratches or ring marks. I would say it has a medium colour and would be easy to find some chairs to match in.

We have professionally lightly cleaned the whole table and waxed it, so fully ready to use. A great item that has stood the test of time. Very easy to keep clean.

Estimated date 1880s.

Beautiful Victorian solid wood hand made by master craftsmen of the time.

The table has a very nice colour and very even across the whole top and leaves.

The table winder thread is made by Joseph Fitter of Birmingham as shown.

The legs are a classic turned shape with nice carved reeded detail. They are fitted with a set of brass wheel castors. The table has great height and leg room.

The table is a wind out to increase its length, you can add the two leaves or just one. The table can then be closed down when more space is required, making it very adaptable for your family or office requirements.

No woodworm can be seen.
