French M1822 pattern cavalry officers sword. Brass hilt stamed with foundry marks and issue stamps. wooden grip with brass wire, which has come loose.Straight single fullered blade, 36" long and engraved on the backstrap 1882/1886. Scabbard with single hanger and nore foundry and issue stamps. Total length 44".Not for sale to anyone under 18 years of age.
